Hidronit
The research project started in 2003 on a laboratory scale and the scale 2007 pilot plant. In 2008, the technology has been validated semi-industrial scale plant real effluents.
The process consists of a catalytic selective hydrogenation reaction, through which nitrates / nitrites are converted to nitrogen gas in a single stage, getting water high quality without generating waste.
Contaminated water is mixed with hydrogen gas in a small reactor system continuous, where the catalyst in getting clean water and nitrogen output gas.
